Monika Strobl has been committed to the acceptance of transgender people for decades. Monika is a founding member of the Rainbow Group at MedUni Vienna. As part of the gender and diversity lecture series of the Gender and Diversity Office, she gave a total of 18 lectures on various aspects of the transgender phenomenon over more than a decade. Monika is a member of the interdisciplinary expert group “trans*Inter* genders – psychotherapy”. She founded a support group for transgender adults at the Courage Vienna advice center and supervised it for years. Monika introduced the topic of diversity to our center’s colleagues in numerous personal conversations.
Ms. a.o. Univ. Profin. Drin Witta Monika Strobl has demonstrated her expertise in the field of metabolism and congenital metabolic diseases through numerous publications and has inspired us with these topics thanks to her extensive knowledge, especially about lipoprotein metabolism.
